For a module called Interactive Environments, we learned about virtual production and created 3D spaces on Unreal Engine. In collaboration with AUX media group, my teammates (Gwen and Shuxian) and I proposed a virtual Marina Bay Sands theatre, where musical sets can be animated and cool virtual effects can be added. This documentation video highlights our favourite aspects of this project, and was edited by me!

Married in a Minute is a conceptual mobile app created to poke fun at Singaporean's 'kiasu-ness' and sense of urgency. Gone are the days when Singaporeans have to compile the required documents, book appointments, and invite witnesses to the solemnisation.
With Married in a Minute, you can do all that in the comfort of your own homes in, quite literally, under a few minutes! Simply log into your Singpass with your partner and apply for BTO right after - why wait months of a tiring marriage process, right?

Note: Married in a Minute was conceptualised and designed months before OMJ did the same thing LOL

Mita is a conceptual alien restaurant created with MidJourney and Runway Gen2 for a class that explores AI generation tools. AI-generated art is a huge debate topic right now. Rather than shunning a new medium, I wanted to better understand the ethics and safety precautions of a new tool in the creative industry. It will be tough to get rid of such a popular genre, so we might as well embrace it while also ensuring the protection of fellow artists and their IP.

Thinteractions is an exhibition created by Professor Yeo Ker Siang, featuring works from NTU ADM's Interactive Media students. I showcased my project, comptoir de la fontaine, between 26 December 2023 to 1 January 2024.
comptoir de la fontaine uses data and human movement to challenge the solitude and loneliness of a toilet's 4 walls. By placing a sensor at the exhibition venue's toilet entry, it detects whenever a person uses the toilet and adds to a counter + marks a timestamp.
At the end of the exhibition, there were almost 2200 people who shared the same toilet space across 1 week.
Aside from this project, I was also in charge of the exhibition's brand identity and graphic design: Creating vinyl stickers for the glass door, prepping print files for our catalogue and write-ups, leading the art direction for our Instagram posts, editing an Exhibition Highlights video.

Using TouchDesigner's Projection Mapping abilities, this group project crafted 3 interactive mannequins to display a narrative about tattoos. Using Arduino Sensors, Kinect Azure, 3 short-throw projectors, and a whole lot of sleepless nights; we wanted to tell a story about our human fascination with body art.
I learned the intricacies and features of TouchDesigner through a class called Generative Art. Here, we explored the use of randomness, algorithm and aesthetics to create a meaningful piece of art.

To understand spatial design and interactivity, I created an audio-reactive installation about overwhelming stimulation. By the sounds of footsteps and chattering in a room, users sitting in front of a screen will see an array of bright colours and distortions of reality.
